Our process: Congratulations! Identifying that there is a problem is the first step to obtaining help! The next step to recieving help is to fill out our species-specific behavior questionnaire. After the behavior questionnaire is submitted you will receive an email to schedule a consult. The point of this consult is to obtain a comprehensive history on the pet, to ensure I am the right fit for you and your pet, and to identify any risk factors that would warrant referral to your veterinarian or to a board-certified veterinary behaviorist to rule out health problems that can contribute to or exacerbate behavior problems. Some examples include endocrine disorders, neurologic disorders, or pain. During this consult, I will discuss in detail the behavior(s) of concern, and immediate management recommendations. I will also determine a treatment plan. The consult will be followed by an email containing a behavior plan of care, a synopsis, treatment protocols, and other instructions. A link will also be provided to schedule follow up sessions. 

 

The email will also contain an acknowledgement and consent form, as well as payment options. Please note that payment must be submitted prior to the consult.
